Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches

I know – weird, eh? But this is the role of a parent: give food silly little names so our picky little creatures will eat them.

If I were to call it a peanut butter sandwich, she’d say NO!

If I were to call it peanut butter on crackers, she’d also say NO!

So the winning combination of nouns is peanut butter cracker sandwich. Everyday she eats these too! When I pick her up from school she’s usually hungry (not for lack of food being served or questionable quality, but because, well, obviously, because she’s Simone!). So in the car she gets a yogurt cup and 2 or 3 peanut butter cracker sandwiches.

Makes me happy knowing she’s getting a wee bit of protein.  :)

• Even number of Premium Plus crackers
• Jar of peanut butter
• Your best smearing knife!

It’s a pretty brainless snack, but might be a good option if you picky one doesn’t like bread or needs to cut back.  :)
