Everyone always asks about my Banana Bread…

so here…have it! And take my secret tips too…!

Andrea’s Banana Bread
1/4 cup margarin or soft butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3 soft bananas
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup sour milk (just pour half a cup of milk and add 2 tsp of lemon juice)
2 eggs

1. Mash bananas in a bowl and add a nice splash of cinnamon.
2. Mix butter + sugar together then add: eggs one by one; mashed bananas; vanilla
3. Mix all dry ingredients together
4. Add dry to liquid; mix together
5. Bake 355 for 40 mins. Depending on your oven, make sure you check with a toothpick (I have to bake at 355 for closer to 50mins!)

Secret tips:
– Chocolate chips are optional, but if you do add them, mix them in a bowl first with a bit of flour so they don’t all sink to the bottom when the bread bakes.
– add half a grated zucchini and/or a grated carrot. Your kid will NEVER know it’s in there.
