A former favourite

For close to a year (yes, one whole year!) I served up instant rice with veg puree, and without fail, Simone ate it even though it was the same ol’ same ol’.

I know those packages of instant seasoned rice dishes are filled with sodium (I know ok, don’t make me feel worse about it!), but if you get the broccoli & cheddar one, then add a whole pile of extra broccoli puree (I steam, puree, and cube mine, then just chuck about 3-4 cubes in the pot at the end of the rice cooking), you can’t really tell that it is filled with extra veg.

Easy, eh? This is good for those picky 12 months + kiddies out there.
