White bean dip

June 15, 2010

If your kid likes to dip stuff, give this super easy bean dip recipe a try. It takes all of 5 minutes and except for the sage, you probably have most of the ingredients at home. I serve this up all the time and like to bring it to parties (people often think I went through the trouble of making humous…hah…not!).

Oh, and they go well with my tortilla chips too. 🙂

White bean dip

1 can white beans (rinse & drained)
1 small clove of garlic
1/4 tsp salt (recommend sea salt over table salt)
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh sage

Put ’em all together and blend the hell outta them. I use my braun hand mixer which does the job perfectly.
